A Closer Look: Bodega x Reebok Classic Leather Lux “U.S.B.D.G.A.”

The “Bean-town” based boutique is at it again. The earlier revealed teaser image has now been clarified with this detailed reveal of the upcoming collaboration between Bodega and Reebok in the form of the Classic Leather Lux. Trailing the heels of some great 2013 drops from Bodega, the Reebok silhouette looks to add to the properly designed arsenal that Bodega has been abel to drum up.

Rocking a design that clearly draws inspiration from a military origin, the upper construction is met with a combination of graphic print canvas and premium suede paneling. The “Bodega Killer Bee Stingers” as the insole refers to them, plays between an array of colors and blocking. While the majority of the exterior mid-paneling is seen with a desert camouflage print, the toe and heel suede panels play off of the same design. A mustard/maize styled yellow drapes across the toe box material while a softer brown brings up the rear on the heel wrapped suede portions.

Transitioning to the interior, the Bodega “B” can be seen branded on the white leather tongue as the inner lining is draped in a blue textile. Graphic insoles and Gucci-esque tri-colored heel tabs close off the design while a plain jane white midsole and gum dipped outsole wrap up the project.

Set to drop in true quick strike fashion, the “U.S.B.D.G.A” project from the Boston brand and the Reebok team is scheduled to drop this Saturday October 19th for $130. Keep it locked and stay tuned to the Twitter account for release details and updates.
